Safety Face Masks

Masks and snoods can help prevent you from touching your mouth and nose as frequently as usual, but they must always be worn and removed correctly.

Please note that our face masks are neither a medical device or an item of approved PPE and must be worn and used in conjunction with hygiene guidelines from the health authorities.

Face Masks should...

  • fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
  • be secured with ties or ear loops
  • allow for breathing without restriction
  • be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape

Should Reusable Face Masks be washed or otherwise cleaned regularly?

Yes. They should be routinely washed depending on the frequency of use. A guideline would be once per day.

How do we safely sterilise/clean a Reusable Face Mask?

Our wash process is controlled and our plants are certified to EN14065 standard, which allows us to operate in healthcare markets. The machines we have can wash at high temperatures, to ensure the masks have been thermally disinfected. Alternatively, if your employees wish to home launder these products, we recommend a minimum 60°C degree wash.

Wash hands after removing a Reusable Face Mask

Individuals should be careful not to touch their eyes, nose or mouth when removing their face masks and always wash hands immediately after removing.

We can also offer the Anti-Viral stretch mask which is made of fabric finished with ViralOff®, an anti-viral treatment to protect against viruses and bacteria. The Silver ions in the finish strongly inhibit bacterial growth and viral activity, by interfering with the DNA. This can kill both bacteria and viruses by 99% on a treated material over the space of two hours (ISO18184:2019 (H3N2)).
