Achieving an International Standard for Bio-Contamination Control
Johnsons Workwear is proud to have achieved EN14065, an internationally recognised standard accreditation which shows our laundry service has a process in place to control microbiological contamination in laundered textiles. Achieving this certification means we can now operate safely in healthcare markets, a first for Johnsons Workwear.
The accreditation promotes a RABC (Risk Analysis and Biocontamination) based operation which allows us to safely clean garments potentially contaminated by the healthcare industry. Our continuous excellence in maintaining a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) system and high standards of hygiene will allow our plants to transition easily into the RABC system.
Operations Director Paul Carr commented, “It’s an exciting new avenue for the growth of our textile rental business. Well done to the team in our Lancaster branch who worked extremely hard to ensure that we attained the standard.”
